lunch with Zyko

Before leaving I tried to catch up with some friends.  This is a long time friend from high school Emily Zyko.  I wish we could have hung out more while I lived in the city but at least we got to catch up before i left.  Oh it is so nice to see pictures of summer time and good friends.

Last Day of IPS....so sad!

This was on my last day at IPS and it was really sad.  I miss everyone soooooooooo very much.  I loved my time there and i miss the teachers and the kids!  My Hsiu-Hua ran off to Taiwan to get married and I miss her.  At least I get to visit the other teachers and the kids during the year.  These are all the best people and I am so glad I was able to work along side them and become friends with them.

This was my last night watching Ed and Edith before moving out of New York City.  I love these guys and I got to babysit them a little up in the country but i miss them so much and I hope they stay in touch.  We have so much fun together and they are amazing kids with amazing parents.  

NAEYC conference in Chicago

So we all went on our teaching conference although you can't attend Chicago and not tour around.  Jason met me there too and we all had a great time together.  My friends Belle and Will live there and other friends Jodi and Chad were visiting so we all caught dinner and a Second City show.  It was a fun time with lots of laughter and friends...just the way i like it!

Kim and Brian (her husband) and I went and looked at the Vineyards and sampled some of the grapes finest!  We visited Kim and Brian's favorite and soon you will find Kim living there since she loves it so much.  Here is a view from the owners house of his vineyards.  It was a such a GREAT trip to see Kim again because I miss her in my daily life.  And by the way Cali is a pretty nice place.  

Oh for fun trip with Jason in Vegas

We went to Vegas and had an AMAZING time, as usual.  This is a picture Jason took from the top of the Effiel Tower while we watched to water show.  It was so cool watching from up above.  After walking 30 miles the first day we were a bit worn out but managed to enjoy so crazy Vegas night life and fun.

Our Vandy girl dinner girls (minus Krista who moved to California).  This is one of our many dinners together to catch up on our lives.  Here is Alison's (one with the long necklaces on) goodbye party because she left us to go work in Africa and guess what...move to CALIFORNIA!  Why does this state take all of our friends...oh the pleasure of sunny days!  So we wish her the best at her new life!
