This is the Rift Valley that covers a GREAT expanse of Africa. The first picture is of a little gopher guy looking out over the Rift Valley. The picture of the place is a store on the edge of the Rift Valley to buy products. The valley was so breath taking!

Masi Village
Shots along the way...
The first picture is a gas station where they put something on our tires to keep us going and the drivers wife brought him a bag with all of his goods for the stay with us at the safari. He was really nice and wanted us to meet her, and then he asked me what I thought. I was a bit scared of her as she was an INTENSE woman, but I told him any woman who brings you your suitcase along your way is a good woman! If they think tires should be recalled in the USA due to overdue dates on them....check out these piles of tires....they aren't old unused ones they are the ones that are the replacements....HAHA, goooood quality.

Way to Safari
The Masi People walking with their cattle and wearing their bright and red blanket like material. The red is supposed to keep away the animals that could attack them, so they wear them all the time. They are a nomadic culture. The rock is painted with the Kenya flag and we saw it on the way to the safari. The big plant is an aloe type of plant but they are HUGE! They are really cool looking although this picture is sideways.
