So the girl from the UK, Melanie who came a few weeks before I got here asked if she could do anything for the Orphanage and they decided on her helping them build a Library. They orphanage has wanted one and so she decided to help and help finance it. When i came i said that i wanted to help anyway that i could and that i would donate money too because i wanted her to get to see the Library done while she is here AND we all know how i love library for kids. I am also going to suggest on this post that if anyone would like to donate money to hlep finish it please post a message and i will work out how you can help. The other thing that i am going to do is start a book drive to fill up this library and when i get back i want to collect many..some paper back and some not (but paper back is easier to carry here). But the girl that is donating the libaray too is coming back in December so i am going to get a book drive done and send her the books and she will bring them here. So you can start collecting books at home if you would like....the kids will LOVE IT! So this is the beginning of the building going up and there are pictures along the way. It is going well but we have almost run out of money. We (and the kids) are going to be SO excited when we see it done!** we were trying to make decisions on the way the library should be built and Guiden fell asleep on me while we were all talking.
