We had to buy lumber for the library and when you build a building you have to go into town and go to each individual store and purchase the items and then make sure some one reliable will take them to your place. Well as we were trying not to get ripped off we took Judith with us because as i said... she is one tough woman! i got really tired of waiting around while everyone talks and so i started picking up lumber. And when you are a woman and you are white it is like shock to them to see me doing manual labor. They say "oh we do that, we do that" and my response is "well i am hot and want to get home so i do that i do that." This is Mel giving away so much money she raised to buy the lumber. Where she is standing is the "office"... no not so air-conditioned.
