Jeffery the Giraffe's relatives















These are some giraffe heads we saw peeking out the top of the bushes and taking a little rest sitting down. Our guide said you rarely see giraffes sitting down so that was fun to see. We did bother her just enough that she got up and headed out. The way you can tell the difference between a female and male giraffe are shown on the top of the giraffes horns. If the hair on the top of their horns is flat/bald it is a male and female giraffes have tufts of hair on the top of their horns. As giraffes age their colors get darker and darker. Just little information for you all...
